About the roleWe are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Communication to lead the new BA Communications and advance communication studies at the IOE and beyond, joining a team of researchers and lecturers whose expertise spans a range of areas in language, discourse, media and communication. They will hold the role of Programme Leader for a term of four years in the first instance. The post holder will also develop a distinct research portfolio, including doctoral research, and engage in enterprise and engagement.
About youYou will have a PhD in a relevant field and experience of teaching communications in higher education, preferably at undergraduate level.Sustained success in securing research funding is desirable.Your application form should address all the person specification points and should clearly demonstrate how your skills and experience meet each of the criteria.
