Field Service Heavy Plant Fitter - Northampton

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for our client, a specialist of heavy plant machinery, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team in the Northampton area. If you have a strong background in heavy plant maintenance, a passion for diagnosing and repairing machinery, and a commitment to professional growth, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of various heavy plant machinery. You will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of equipment, employing your technical expertise to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
Company vehicle provided for business use, ensuring convenience and flexibility.
Fuel card for covering expenses related to travel to client sites.
40-hour working week with opportunities for overtime.
Training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge within the heavy plant industry.
Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery, adhering to manufacturer's guidelines and industry standards.
Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to perform diagnostics and provide effective solutions.
Delivering exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and building positive client relationships.
Recognized qualifications in heavy plant maintenance or a similar field (NVQ or diploma) are essential.
Proven industry experience in servicing and repairing heavy plant machinery.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of a variety of heavy plant machinery makes, models, and manufacturers.
A valid driving license is required for this mobile role, involving travel to different client sites.
