This position is located in: Eltham

To be successful, you willneed to have a passion for providing quality psychological therapy andassessment to individuals in a private practice setting. Previous experience with children andadolescents is preferred however if this is a field that you would like to workin but have not yet had the opportunity, we also want to hear from you. Newly registered general psychologists or Provisionalpsychologists who are about to complete their provisional year and become fullyregistered are encouraged to apply.

You will be dedicated to creatinga warm and welcoming environment for every individual who connects with ourservices. With a client centered and compassionate approach, you will deliverevidence based therapy and assessments using age appropriate therapeutictechniques tailored to individual needs.

You will have:

  • A track record of utilising evidence-basedintervention strategies and techniques to overcome barriers that preventclients from achieving their goals;
  • Competence to work independently with excellenttime management, administrative and report writing skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with other healthprofessionals and service providers
  • Ability to work with NDIS participants and clientsunder Medicare funding

Experience/Qualifications

Full registration with theAustralian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist. Newlyregistered psychologists welcome.

Provisional psychologistswho are nearing completion of their internship year are also encouraged toapply.

Medicare provider number(or eligibility to apply).

This position requires the successful applicant toundertake a National Police Check, NDIS Workers Check and relevant state-basedscreens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia.
