Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer – Brewery
Location: Middleton, Manchester
Salary: £56,310 (inclusive of shift allowance)
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, 3-Shift Rotating Pattern

Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Mon-Thurs 6:00–14:00, Fri 6:00–13:00
Week 2: Mon-Thurs 13:45–22:00, Fri 12:45–18:45
Week 3: Mon-Thurs 21:45–06:15, Fri 18:45–23:45

The Role
Reporting to the Brewery Engineering Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our brewery operations. Your day-to-day will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
Reacting promptly to breakdowns
Identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity

You’ll have the chance to apply your engineering expertise, make tangible improvements, and see the impact of your work every day.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience:
HNC in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
BTEC/Diploma/Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (minimum)
BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
PLC fault-finding experience (desirable)
Safe operation of steam systems
Experience with rotating equipment – pumps, motors, gearboxes

Skills & Attributes:
Calm and approachable under pressure
Strong electrical engineering knowledge
Analytical problem-solving with the ability to implement solutions effectively
