CK Group are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join a long established and successful biotech with products on the market. This will be a hybrid role, office based for one day a week, alternating between central London and Cambridge.
This role can be considered on either a permanent or contract basis.
As Senior Procurement Manager you will actively support the Head of Procurement in delivering excellent procurement services that support drug discovery and preclinical development activities, as well as support functions.
Operating procurement governance models with our key suppliers, including: drafting Master Service Agreements, review and approval of Work Orders, tracking of benefits delivered
- Monitoring compliance with procurement policies
- Providing training to employees on procurement processes
- Tracking and reporting Procurement Key Performance Indicators (operational and financial metrics).
As Procurement Manager / Senior Manager you will require:
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical / CRO industry in a procurement / alliance management capacity though which a network of contacts will have been created
- Proven experience in preclinical and clinical research procurement
- Evidence of significant value delivery in previous roles
