Warner Scott are partnered with a global boutique advisory firm, who are seeking a talented and driven Corporate Finance Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transaction Advisory

  • Financial Modelling: Develop, review, and refine complex financial models to support transaction negotiations, valuations, and strategic decision-making.
  • Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process, identifying key financial, operational, and strategic risks, and providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Valuation Analysis: Conduct thorough valuations using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.

2. Client Advisory & Relationship Management

  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-quality, strategic financial advice tailored to their unique needs and objectives.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business and financial goals.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide clients with in-depth market insights and industry trends to inform their strategic planning and decision-making processes.

3. Business Development

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes to identify potential opportunities for client engagements.
  • Pitch Preparation: Lead the preparation of pitch books, proposals, and other marketing materials to support business development initiatives.
  • Client Acquisition: Support senior leadership in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, contributing to the firm’s growth and success.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Promote a culture of continuous learning by sharing industry knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise with the team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams within the firm to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' broader advisory needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in corporate finance advisory, investment banking, or a similar advisory role within a reputable firm.
  • Education: A strong academic background with a degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA) is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Client-Focused: Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a track record of successfully advising on complex financial transactions.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Team Player: A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and lead by example.
