Job title: Senior Operations Technician - Site Maintenance
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Salary: Competitive in line with experience
What you'll be doing:
Responsible for the diagnostics, maintenance and repair of a number of electrical/ technical equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, Cranes and remote control technology
Liaising with external suppliers and contractors for materials and parts associated with both planned and reactive maintenance
You will work safely at all times following Health, Safety and environmental policies and legislation
Working alongside high voltage infrastructure under senior authorised persons
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
HNC in Electrical or relevant electrical/technical experience
Experience working with and interrogating PLC's
Experience of electronic testing, fault finding and repair
Understanding of Technical Drawings and Manufacturing Instructions
Maintenance background in an industrial environment
Desirable:
Experience in machine maintenance, CNC machines e.g. mills and lathes etc
Previous experience working alongside high voltage infrastructure
Experience of maintaining and repairs to building management systems

The Site & Facilities Team:
Working alongside a multi trade maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, mill wrights, plumber & joiners, you will be focusing on electrical aspects of maintenance in heavy engineering. This is a challenging and exciting role with fantastic opportunity for growth and development.
