At Ramboll, over 500 highly qualified professionals work on onshore and offshore wind projects worldwide, mainly from our 15 main offices in Scandinavia, Germany, UK, Poland, Spain, Japan and the USA.

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities in international projects of varying complexity and size, such as:

Responsibilities:

• Experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Coordinate with other internal engineering disciplines to achieve successful, functional and innovative designs for our customers.
• Coordinate with other building disciplines (architecture, structure, electrical, civil engineering, etc.) to ensure compatibility with design intent;
• Light travel for on-site project meetings/observations.
• Conduct a field survey to document existing conditions and/or observe construction activity;
• Participates in customer project requirements meetings as well as value analysis and basic cost estimation;
• Implementation of quality assurance and quality control for own projects;
• Participates in the development of a design using sketches, electronic models, diagrams and other visual formats;
• Guides and monitors the performance of calculations using enterprise standard software and proprietary manufacturer software;
• Development of plumbing and fire safety drawings;
• design and documentation of sanitary and fire protection systems;
• Assists in the continuous development and updating of standards and specifications for plumbing and fire safety;
• Creation of contract documents with Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills;
• Sound knowledge of the technical basics;
• Highly motivated, proactive and ready to take on new challenges;
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (PE) preferred;
• Good computer skills and knowledge of software typically used in plumbing/fire safety design (e.g. hydraulic calculations).
• In-depth knowledge of building, plumbing and fire codes;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• AutoCAD and Revit experience is a must;
• More than 5 years of experience in planning sanitary and fire protection systems;
