Our client, a leading UK-based consultancy, is seeking an accomplished Principal Consultant - Workday Adaptive Insights to lead the delivery of cutting-edge financial planning and analytics solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious organization known for its innovative approach and exceptional client service.
Role Overview: As the Principal Consultant, you will be at the forefront of implementing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Insights solutions for a diverse client base. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of projects, ensuring that client needs are met with precision and that the consultancy maintains its reputation for excellence.
Project Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of Workday Adaptive Insights implementations, from initial scoping to post-go-live support, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, lasting relationships to fully understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Solution Design: Lead the design of robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions using Workday Adaptive Insights, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
Provide in-depth knowledge of Workday Adaptive Insights, staying current with the latest product features and industry best practices.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that supports professional growth and project success.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Business Development Support: Collaborate with the business development team on pre-sales activities, including scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.
Contribute to the consultancy’s thought leadership initiatives, such as producing white papers, case studies, and participating in industry events.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing Workday Adaptive Insights solutions.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Workday Adaptive Insights, including model building, reporting, dashboard creation, and system integrations.
Consulting Experience: Proven track record in a client-facing consulting role, with experience leading complex implementations from start to finish.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business language.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) is preferred.
Workday Adaptive Insights certification is highly desirable.
