Position Summary
Within the Logistics York Site Team, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Internal Factory Shunter Driver, the main purpose of the role Is To provide seamless support to both factory & warehouse functions with York site during shift ensuring timely execution of work when advises.

A day in the life of an Internal Factory Shunter Driver
- Moving trailers around York campus with a focus on the York Factory and York Distribution Centre as final destination
- Carry out periodic yard checks for trailer positions and ensuring the correct number of trailers are available to continue the fast-moving supply of goods
- Front line observer of H & S legislation within the yard – reporting any issues to the management team and if required a caring conversation at time of observation
- Working as part of a team to deliver the best quality service.
What will make you successful?
- Full HGV C+E (class1) licence – preferably clean
- Ideally previous experience in a customer facing driving role (not essential)
- Good Communication skills
