Employer Pension Contribution: 21.Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Technician to join the Construction team to help them achieve their vision of unlocking potential and fostering success.
The successful applicant that appointed to this role will be joining a team that is fully committed to supporting the Group to deliver its high-quality learning programmes.
As technician in Electrical, you will be responsible for providing high quality support in the workshop in order to enable the Group to meet the standards required in practical classes. To be successful at application stage it would be advantageous if you have a level 2 or 3 qualification in electrical or have equivalent experience working as a qualified electrician. You should be qualified to level 2 and ideally have literacy & numeracy at level 2. Additionally, it would be desirable to hold a relevant and current First Aid qualification and be Fire Marshall trained or be willing to undertake the training.
This would involve putting you through a teaching assessment quality assurance (TAQA) qualification. This will enable you to complete assessing on a flexible hours basis which is paid at a rate of £21.94 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
