Hours: 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced HR Coordinator, required by their client, a leading global manufacturing and engineering company. This role offers full-time work on a temporary to permanent basis, working day shifts.

What are we looking for?

Experience (indicative) in a HR Administrative Role gained from a busy large Corporate/ Professional Services Environment/ Multinational organisation.
Degree level education or equivalent / Foundation level CIPD (desirable).
Strong HR administrative experience.
High level of attention to detail / accuracy.
Ability to be able to effectively prioritise / escalate and handle a large workload.
High proficiency using technology and IT / HR systems.
Ambitious and works on their own initiative.
A champion of streamlining ways of working and introducing 'smarter' ways of working.
To look for and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of processes to reduce cost and improve efficiency

Main responsibilities

Support the HR Team with all administrative and operational activity and HR cyclical processes.
Responsible for accuracy of associate data in HR System and creating and maintaining associate documentation in line with GDPR regulations.
Manage the absence tracking systems, including the timely receipt of return to work documentation.
Coordinate and organise monthly payroll activity.
Provide HR Advisory support on leave of absences (sickness, maternity, paternity etc), flexible working requests and performance management matters, escalating to the relevant HR Manager as appropriate where the matter becomes more complex.
