Control hired mobile cranes and operators on site, verifying operator, crane and lifting equipment certification are valid.
Ensure accurate and timely lift data (number of lifts, weights) are being accurately captured for billing purposes.
Where non-compliance is identified, participate in the SID process and implementation of corrective actions.
Actively engage and communicate clearly and effectively with Management, Peers, Clients, Contractors and Visitors, which demonstrates a collaborative and supportive approach.
Ensure personnel have the required information, instruction and training in the effective application of Procedures, Risk Assessments, Permits to Work and Lift Plans or any other documentation utilised as part of their tasks.
Ensure the correct use of Cranes, Forklifts and Lifting equipment as set out in legislative and procedural policy; If authorised to carry out lifting activities (Forklift Operations / Banksman and Slinger duties), ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the Company's Group Operating Procedures and Global Lifting Procedures.
Manage quayside staff: undertake return to work meetings, promotion of staff welfare, conduct staff performance development meetings and participate in the company.
