Full-time Year 6 Teacher required for a Prenton primary school on the Wirral, Sept 2024 – July 2025 Your new company
We are seeking a full-time Year 6 Teacher for a warm and inclusive primary school in the Prenton area of the Wirral. The post is for the 2024/25 academic year starting in September 2024. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching key stage 2 classes, including ideally upper KS2 classes, with ECTs who have taught in Year 5 or 6, and ideally completed part of their induction, also considered.
As a Year 6 Teacher in the school, you will have full teaching responsibility, including planning and delivering high-quality, creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess and monitor pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentAn enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain oneEvidence of continuing professional developmentExcellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skillsExperience of teaching upper key stage 2 classesA positive and enthusiastic attitudeA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
