Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Commercial)

Cambridge (Hybrid Role)

Contract Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 1 day at home, 1 day in the office) Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity – Cambridge
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a project based in Cambridge. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work across 3 days on-site, 1 day from home, and 1 day in the office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial projects and a proven ability to manage costs and contracts effectively.
Oversee all aspects of cost management for commercial construction projects
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and align with financial goals
Provide detailed reports and financial forecasts to senior management
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
~5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on commercial projects
~ Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and financial management
~ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
~ Proficiency in relevant software and tools
