Owing to continued sustainable growth, our Chemical and Biological Treatment business stream is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our established in-house Design team in Cumbernauld. You will take on a fully supported leading role in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.
Some typical projects you will be working on across Scotland include legacy PLC/control system replacements (utilising our in-house SI capability), legacy MCC replacements, new build water treatment plants, and MEICA upgrades to existing plants.
As part of industry-leading multi-disciplined project teams, some of your key duties will include:
Carrying out intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to identify the most appropriate and yet innovative solutions to complex problems.
Carrying out the planning and implementation of projects in association with our Delivery Management teams.
Taking the lead on the development of EICA design deliverables by you and your team.
Providing technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team and Senior Management.
Helping RSE maintain our position as the contractor of choice to our key clients.
Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of British and European design standards.
A proven track record for a minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Engineer in both a design office and a construction environment within the water (or related process) industry.
Full UK Driving Licence
