Supporting and being a key member of the CAMHS eating disorder clinic.
Initial assessment of children and adolescents within the eating disorder clinic
Screening referrals for young people with eating disorders.
Offering family based evidence based intervention for the treatment of eating disorders within a multidisciplinary community based CAMHS team.
Expert signposting to other appropriate resource within the community.
To monitor the weight and meal plans of yp in the eating disorder clinic.
Work collaboratively with parents/families/carers to promote the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young person.
Ensure that all assessments, planning and treatments are sensitive to the cultural, religious and gender identity needs of the population served.
Work collaboratively with the young person’s school and any other agencies involved in supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of the young person.
Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
We welcome applications from Band 5 Occupational Therapists aswell as Band 6 & 7 as we have multiple vacancies that could be suitable. NHS experience is very desirable for many of our jobs.
