You’ll offer previous experience in a administration, operations, contract management or customer service role and will also communicate confidently and effectively as you will be working closely with our customers and a variety of amazing people from across our business.

What will I be doing?

No two days are the same at BES Group. As a Contract Manager reporting to the National Head of Planning – Electrical division, you will be a key member of our team. You’ll be working in a busy department within the business and your role will include supporting our customers and the team through general operations including (but not limited to); answering calls and providing general administrative support. By doing this, you will help us deliver the highest quality service.

Our Contract Management & Planning team members positively support and effectively communicate with both internal departments and external customers to provide accurate information as requested efficiently on time, whatever the assignment. That’s just our thing Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily checks on Engineers progress, completing mandatory document information at agreed check points throughout the day.
  • Meeting daily property completion and revenue targets
  • Reporting any issues/patterns in behaviour (e.g. timekeeping/attendance) to the Head of Planning and discuss action to be taken, escalating when required.
  • Monitoring and managing the planning of works for your Engineers up to 10 days in advance.
  • Planning in labour for your contracts on the monthly Labour Schedule document.
  • Managing stock from Housing Associations and recognise trigger points to request more properties.
  • Managing the ‘Action Required’ job status effectively to ensure it is kept to a minimum and within KPI targets
  • Managing ‘On Hold’ properties effectively.
  • Attending meetings with clients, gathering relevant information prior to meetings and executing any action points.
  • Any additional ad-hoc duties as required

What experience do I need?

Our team consists of the best contract management and planning team members, we should know, we trained them You don’t need heaps of experience, just the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do. You’ll also:

  • Offer previous experience in an administration, operations, contract management or customer service role
  • Good IT skills and the ability to use online systems and Microsoft Office applications confidently
  • An aptitude for systems and processes and ability to learn swiftly
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Have lots of enthusiasm to deliver a refreshing customer experience, every time
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to use own initiative
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to working
  • Self-motivated, proactive and driven to deliver
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
