Business Development Manager

Mainmark is seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of the sales team, you will drive growth across both the B2B sector in Infrastructure and Residential Markets, leveraging our leading ground engineering solutions. What you can expect from a typical day
- Developing and fostering relationships through proactive customer engagement - cold calling, presentations and face-to-face meetings
- Leading proposal development and coordinating sales strategies
- Investigating new revenue and profit opportunities in existing and emerging technologies
- Supporting sales teams with technical, commercial and people management guidance
- Maintaining sales records in Salesforce and ensuring client solutions are optimally developed
- Proven experience in technical sales with ideally 5+ years' experience
- Background in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- Good understanding of the construction and engineering industry
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly language
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience mentoring/managing others effectively
- A valid driver's licence
