The role - Client Facing .NET Developer

The salary - £46k - £53k

The location - Falkirk

Hybrid working, 1 day on site a week.

We're working with a fantastic organisation who looking to add a client-side .NET developer to their team. The successful candidate will have fantastic experience with .NET programming and development and will having a strong client-facing mentality. The role will involve liaising directly with clients to gather requirements for specific projects, define the needs of the clients and then deliver it through coding solutions that meet these requirements. This job is a unique mix of .NET development and business analysis.

Your day-to-day:

  • Responsible for working with internal and external teams to review, analyse and modify systems.
  • Liaise with clients to determine project needs, defining application requirements and ensuring a full evaluation of potential solutions.
  • Outline the project process with clients, from project scope to the delivery plan right through to final documentation and rollout.
  • Develop solutions utilising your programming and development skills within .NET and other Scripting languages.
  • Ensure the operational running of applications by training internal and external stakeholders in their use.
  • Write documentation including user guides for new, existing and custom applications for the view of external stakeholders.
  • Provide assistance where needed in troubleshooting on custom applications if needed.

About you:

  • You'll have strong technical skills, covering both programming and development, within .NET. Experience with C#, VB, TSQL and XMLT are also desirable.
  • Experience with system integration projects, covering ERP systems and third-party projects.
  • Experience working within client facing or service desk environments.
  • Experience programming and managing data with SQL.
  • Confidence in analysing business requirements, liaising directly with clients and collating data to report back with required solutions, providing business analysis reporting.
  • Experience in project management and project road-mapping is highly desirable.
