Our pupils are exceptional. We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team on a permanent basis and work with pupils who have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
The successful candidate will be expected to make a real and positive impact to the lives of children who have a range of special educational needs (SEMH/ASD), life experiences and personalities that make every day varied and interesting. You will be able to successfully build trusting student relationships and motivate and encourage pupils as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate.
We would love to hear from you if you thrive working in a challenging but immensely rewarding environment, if you are passionate about supporting the development of social, life and independence skills, and if you truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
The appointed candidates will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
Your new school
Quorn Hall is an inclusive and forward thinking school that supports Children and Young People aged 6 -17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are a specialist therapeutic school, offering an integrated model of education and therapy which dovetail to ensure that pupils are challenged effectively to make their next steps whilst feeling safe and supported.
