The inside open-plan trading area has 80 covers. We’ve spared no expense in maintaining the toilets and spacious wrap-around bar. Sports enthusiasts love the multiple TV screens, ensuring they never miss a game. And, to top it all off, we’ve already secured permission for another year of outside trading, allowing you to entertain guests in style.
The pub also has the optimum location, as Penrith shines as the heart of Cumbria. Just 20 minutes away from Keswick and 30 minutes from Carlisle, you’ll be in the midst of all the action. Lowther Deer Park and Penrith Centre Parks are around the corner, attracting tourists and locals alike. Easy accessibility via the M6 motorway and A66 ensures a steady flow of customers.
Ideal operator
We want someone who knows the pub, the market, and the local challenges. With catering experience under your belt, you’ll thrive in our kitchen. Chef recruitment can be challenging here, but fear not, for this is where you come in. With solid financial backing, you’ll be in charge of this impressive £15k per week operation, which increases to £20k during peak tourist season.
About the Agreement
We love working with experienced entrepreneurs and we’re happy to be flexible with our agreements and products to match your business and vision.
Our Flexible Tenancy agreement offers you a peace of mind approach to running your own pub business for a total term of up to 5-years with a flexible notice period. We also offer flexible price bands and release fees which are available.
