Job Description Design Engineer
The purpose of the role is to support the Envea operations and projects functions by providing input to all elements of design, project management, stock management and workshop activities.

Producing electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation packages for issuance to customers, production, installation and commissioning teams.
Update and maintain AutoCAD/Solidworks libraries and standards
Scope for developing knowledge and understanding of CEMS and Gas Detection systems through technical support and training, with progression to Project Engineer role.
Assisting Design Engineers, Systems Engineers and the Operations Manager to generate the relevant drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
To support activities as required by the Project Team.
Process design change requests and implement required changes into library drawings and documents.
Strong AutoCAD/SolidWorks knowledge and skills.
Good electrical knowledge and understanding.
Working knowledge of how efficient design, project and admin offices should work. High level of computer literacy, including AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Proficiency in Microsoft office. Qualifications Minimum NVQ 3 in Electrical Based Engineering or equivalent. This role is based at the Envea office in Tranmere, Wirral, with occasional to travel to other ENVEA sites in the UK and very occasionally Internationally.
