Senior Payroll Administrator required to join our client, a well-established Accountancy Practice located in Darlington on a full time, permanent basis.

Experience working within an Accountancy Practice/ Firm is essential to be successful for this role.

Senior Payroll Administrator Position Overview
  • Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls accurately
  • Perform manual calculations for SSP, SMP, and SPP
  • Review information provided by clients and raise any queries if needed
  • Generate various payroll reports for managerial review
  • Publish reports to clients via the portal
  • Keep the work schedule current
  • Finalise payroll and issue remaining reports and online payslips
  • Forward banking details to managers for BACS submission
  • Upload pension information to the relevant providers, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Ensure all payroll activities comply with legislative and statutory requirements
  • Produce year-end reports and issue P60s
  • Provide support and guidance to team members
Senior Payroll Administrator Position Requirements
  • Have high-volume payroll experience gained in a payroll bureau.
  • Have a working knowledge of payroll legislation.
  • Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel particularly using and creating formulas
