The Senior GRC VRM Platform Specialist willsupport the efforts of the organization by leading the integration, oversight,and execution of systems and processes supporting the firm's 3rd party riskmanagement efforts. The role holder will utilize various GRC tools to enhancethe effectiveness, efficiency, and speed of the risk assessment process infurtherance of the established ISMS and risk management framework.

About the role:

As part of this role, the successful candidatewill:

Responsibilities:

  • Supportthe 3rd party risk assessment program via the use of the established ISMS,risk management framework and VRM platforms.
  • Championthe integration of the VRM and GRC platforms in a manner that providesintegrated executive risk reporting and vendor risk tracking.
  • Utilizethe VRM platforms in a manner that maximizes the effectiveness andreliability of the risk assessment process.
  • Leveragethe process and capability improvements achieved in the above efforts tosupport other aspects of the risk management program, such as greaterautomation and orchestration.
  • Monitorand report on compliance with the Firm’s information security policies andprocedures.
  • Maintainrecords of audit findings and ensure that corrective actions areimplemented per the agreed remediation schedule.
  • Providestatus reports to the IT GRC Manager
  • Maintainthe Firm's security-related information and metrics repositories.

To be successful in this role you will need:

Skills and Experience:

  • Possessa Computer Science bachelor’s degree or substantial equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrableexperience with vendor-facing information security assessments using VRMplatforms and reporting results.
  • Backgroundin managing VRM platform information and integrating key risk metrics withGRC platforms.
  • CISSP,CRISC, CISA, CIA preferred.
  • RSAArcher Certified Professional preferred.
  • Thoroughunderstanding of security concepts and best practices
  • Authoritativeunderstanding of principles, theories, techniques, and methods ofinformation system analysis and risk assessment
  • Authoritativeunderstanding of audit principles applied to common information securitydomains such as security policy, organizational structure, assetmanagement, human resources, physical security, operations,communications, access control, development, and acquisition, incidentmanagement, business continuity, and compliance.
  • Workingknowledge of common information systems such as Active Directory,networking, endpoint management, and SQL
  • Proficientin the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Sufficientbusiness acumen to understand the business drivers associated with riskmanagement concepts, particularly those affecting client audits, RFPs, andcontractual terms.
  • Strongcommunication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate professionallyin business language, in both oral and written formats (English).
  • Gatherand analyse facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
  • Workindependently and within a team.
  • Remainproductive and maintain focus without direct supervision.
  • Effectivelymanage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Internalizeand act upon constructive feedback.
  • Adoptnew skills and improve existing skills in a dynamic environment.
