Drainage Technician

Job Title: Drainage Technician Location: Ipswich and surrounding areas. Job Type: Full-time Hourly rate £DOE Normal working hours shall be 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Due to continued expansion, our client EPPH Drainage are looking for several Drainage technicians to join their already successful team as they continue to grow as a market leader within the drainage industry. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working alone but also as a team and capable of implementing and following strict health and safety procedures and processes. The individual must be punctual, reliable and have good organizational skills. You will be required to be on call for out of hours work and over weekends on a rota basis. This role requires an element of fitness and strength as you will be lifting manhole covers. Desirable Experience and Qualifications Understanding of different types of drain systems in use. Understanding of different drain materials HPWJ (High Pressure Water Jetting). Drain Surveying. Using the latest Crawler cameras. Drain tracing equipment. Customer focused. Can use IT equipment. Understand Construction and drainage drawings. NRSWA Tickets. Confined spaces trained. Can drive over 3.5T, 7.5T plus. Drain CCTV survey certificates. Drain Lining. Working on pumps. Electrical certificates. Experienced in drain lining/repairs. Off mains drainage experience. Essential Requirements Hold a full UK manual driving license and be confident driving and working in and around central London. Willing to work away from time to time. Must be able to work on their own and part of a team. Capable to work in confined spaces.
