Job Description

Here at Aventum Group, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our progressive journey in a growing marketing department for a Global specialist insurance Group.

We are at a pivotal point of our extensive growth plan, looking for a Marketing Assistant to support marketing and communication activity as an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior marketing Executives to enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Assist in the creation and editing of marketing collateral, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing and engaging content.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and schedule posts on various social media platforms to ensure consistent and timely communication.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and engage with the audience to build brand awareness.

Data Analysis

  • Collect and analyse marketing data to track the performance of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team.

Event Coordination

  • Assist the Events Co-ordinator in the planning and execution of marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, and product launches.
  • Coordinate logistics, handle registrations, and ensure seamless event execution.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for the company.
  • Summarise findings and present insights to the marketing team.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organising files.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • At least one year experience in a Marketing related role.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and creativity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for staying updated on marketing trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
  • Outcome focused, self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven.
  • Team worker with the ability to work on their own initiatives.
  • Professional approach to relationships.
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
  • At least 5 A-C Grade GCSE’s including English and Mathematics.
