We are looking for a Production Manager to join the Outernet Creative Studio and work from our central London offices near Tottenham Court Road. You will manage complex and diverse projects across various clients and internal experiences and act as the escalation point for more extensive campaigns. Using your expertise in CGI pipelines (AE, C4D, and Unreal or alt Real-Time Engines), you will ensure the smooth scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery of our internal house projects and external commercial client work and help us grow our studio output. This role requires solid project management and communication skills, a sound understanding of CGI workflows, an agile mindset, and contacts and experience in the production industry.
Responsible for the daily operations and production processes for the Studio.
Working with the Producers, monitor and track all the creative department's workloads to ensure they are completed cost-effectively and efficiently. Oversight and ownership of the production management tools.
Schedule resources across teams, identify potential gaps and source additional support (freelance/contract).
Produce comprehensive, accurate and precise production planning & reporting for all content production.
Manage, and monitor the studio department and production budgets, forecasting and reporting progress by best practices and ensuring that teams work within the financial constraints.
For projects you are responsible for ensure that crucial delivery milestones are met.
Support the Commercial Team where needed for budget and client meetings.
Handle legal/contracts and have experience with areas such as usage licenses.
Negotiate, book and manage external producers, crews, equipment suppliers and postproduction facilities.
Develop and implement highly effective and reportable operating procedures for all production and postproduction activities through an innovation and experimentation mindset.
Build into the processes the guidelines required for safe and responsible production and all other required legal and regulatory processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing new technologies and processes that enhance production quality and efficiency.
Extensive experience working as an experienced Production Manager or Project Manager (ideally from production studios) across all media formats covering project management, production processes and CGI workflows (highly desirable to have at least 5+ years’ experience).
Exceptional time management, being highly organised and resourceful.
Demonstrate proven experience in handling several projects simultaneously across multiple deadlines and the ability to switch gears immediately.
Utilise and manage resource management, project management, time, and profit tracking tools (experience in Airtable desirable)
Sharp eye for detail and quality control.
Experience and confidence in managing people / projects.
