In a nutshell

We're looking for highly skilled Solution Architects who have a background in airline retailing and integration to join our Enterprise Architecture and Strategy team. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of complex solutions from conception through to delivery in line with the enterprise technology strategy and roadmap.

Day to day
  • Partnering with the business to understand user demand and realisation of solutions. Translating technical requirements to non-technical audiences.
  • Working closely with the Enterprise domain architects to ensure business outcomes are achieved, as well as feeding back into the overall Enterprise Architecture to ensure progress towards the target state.
  • Providing complex solution designs in line with domain and enterprise architectures.
  • Reviewing existing technical capabilities, promoting reuse, or identifying new capabilities.
  • Contributing to both technical architectures to ensure feedback from implemented architectures aligned to continued development of technical strategies.
  • Development of Technical Strategies and Reference Architectures.
  • Managing total risk and cost of the IT Estate project specific across the business.
About you

In addition to the above, we are looking for our successful candidate to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience working with high- level complex designs in similar architecture roles (e.g. Solution, Domain or Enterprise).
  • Knowledge of modern architectures, utilizing cloud capabilities and loosely coupled architectures.
  • Knowledge of implementing SaaS and Cloud native solutions.
  • Travel or Airline knowledge useful but not essential.
