Job Description Design Manager - Super Prime Residential (Central London)

Lead the Design of Exquisite Homes for London's Elite
Our client, a highly respected central London contractor specializing in super-prime residential projects (ie. private, single family, mansions and townhouses), seeks a talented Design Manager to join their growing team.

Be Part of a Core Project Team & Shape the Future of Design
As Design Manager, you'll play a key role in project delivery, taking ownership of the design process from pre-construction all the way to handover. You'll lead the day-to-day coordination and management of design information from specialists and subcontractors, ensuring seamless integration of building services with architectural and structural elements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically competent, design-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be instrumental in developing the company's in-house design team and capabilities, shaping the future of super-prime residential construction in London.

Manage all stages of design information from specialists and subcontractors.
Lead the integration of building services with architectural and structural elements.
Oversee the technical delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to plans and budgets.
Foster a collaborative and productive working environment within the project team.
Maintain a meticulous eye for design detail, upholding the company's commitment to exceptional quality.

Minimum 5 years of experience working on private, one-off luxury residential projects with budgets of at least and ideally in excess of £1million.
Minimum 5 years of experience in design management within the construction industry.
A strong understanding of technical design principles and construction methods.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) a strong asset.
