Morson are looking for an Aircraft Wireman to work at Gloucestershire Airport: The unlicensed engineer is primarily responsible for the completion of maintenance. Working at Base Maintenance facilities on an equal time on and off roster, there may on occasions be a requirement for the unlicensed engineer to support Line Maintenance activities.
All undertakings will be accomplished in accordance with approved data, company policies and procedures, including:
Completion of all maintenance activities, as directed, in accordance with approved maintenance data and company policies and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Legislation including the wearing and maintaining of appropriate PPE.
Aircraft ground handling as required.
Additional Engineering Tasks as nominated by the Base Maintenance Supervisors, Base Maintenance Co-Ordinator or Avionics manager
Ensuring components fitted and removed are recorded, issued using the company computer system. Ensuring the formal reporting of incidents and near misses in accordance with company procedures and the appropriate escalation of issues to Base Maintenance or Management outside of the scope of responsibility or influence.
A strong maintenance related technical knowledge of rotary aircraft Avionic systems
• A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & safety and human factors awareness.
