We're looking for a dynamic and collaborative Environment Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to be based at our Gatwick MRO facility.
The purpose of the role will be to provide practical support to management and employees to enable us to achieve a high standard of EHS performance at this location and provide support for other locations within the region as required.

The role will cover the Boeing operation at the Gatwick MRO facility and support operations at our Flight Training Campus in Crawley.
Providing day-to-day EHS support for risk assessment, EHS procedures, communications, EHS inspections, induction training, EHS observations, Emergency procedures, accident investigations, and environmental compliance and sustainability.
Preparing compliance and technical reports to meet Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
Supporting the lead on site EHS specialist and collaborating with regulatory agencies. Providing input to new business opportunities and facilities projects to ensure compliance.
Conducting education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
Reviewing vendor, contractor and supplier activities for EHS compliance for site processes and program goals.
The candidate must have a nationally recognised qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety, at a minimum of level 3 and ideally experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
Good IT skills are important.
Aircraft hangar maintenance environment experience.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
