Job Title and Role: Class One Driver Days
25-hour contract / £17.Working Hours:Between 04:00 & 09:00 Starts Monday to Friday (Route Dependent)
As a Class One haulage driver, you'll play a pivotal role in the efficient and safe delivery of freight across the UK. Our General Haulage drivers are also expected to come prepared to "Night-out" Monday to Thursday, for our longer routes
Your key duties include being able to work to a daily delivery and collection route plan set out by the transport office. Being able to use PDA devices and phone Apps for POD capture. You must remain professional when visiting clients or delivery points. The office transport team relies on you as their eyes and ears on the road so the right candidate must be willing and want to be part of the wider Mobile team.
The ideal candidate will have a clean C + E Licence with at least 2 years experience and over the age of 25. A strong focus and care for maintaining delivery performance efficiently and cost-effective driving is also a positive.
Confident and careful driving
Class 1 HGV Driving License
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to day to day work
Be able to use Phones, PDAs and Apps
