Part Time / 18.5 Hours Per Week/ Fixed term 24 months due to funding
The Social Care and Education Systems Development team supports our major IT systems in our Childrens, Early Help, Education and Adults Social Care services and is currently undertaking a major implementation project of a new Education system.
You'll be responsible for meeting the goals of projects to improve our business processes and ensuring that our IT systems are developed or enhanced to support those goals.
The team consists of four Liquid Logic systems training and process officers, four Support Officers, Analysts and a project officer, manager and senior project manager. Our Health and Care Integration team consists of a Senior project manager, project manager and project officer and drives digital integration with our NHS and Health partners.
The post is part time 18.5 hours per week, and you'll have a flexible approach to working location to include office, site based and home based, to fit the needs of the service. Working days will be agreed with the successful candidate but will be typically Mon to Fri office hours with some flexibility as required. The post is fixed term for a two year period.
What you'll be doing
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of a range of ICT related projects to enhance social care, education and early help systems, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of improvements and project outcomes. You'll manage and maintain a range of project management tools such as Risk and Issue Logs, Project Plans, Lessons Learned Logs and Financial Records for each project, so as to ensure delivery of business case objectives and good governance.
You'll work closely with a range of operational social care teams, Corporate ICT colleagues, team members and our systems providers to ensure project aims and objectives are realised.
What you'll need
With experience of working with a range of individuals and groups at a variety of levels. You'll be able to use your Analytical skills e.g. ability to gather, interpret and report on complex data, information with a view to leading on problem solving. To present to a wide audience.
Being used to developing systems, including testing and deployment to live environments. Utilising your experience of working on IT developmental projects to successfully deliver on your projects.
