Job Summary
As the Architectural and Structural Metalwork Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of metalwork projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.
Lead the planning and execution of architectural and structural metalwork projects, including but not limited to facades, staircases, balustrades, canopies, and bespoke metalwork installations.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, resolve any issues or challenges, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients, and project teams to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, and obstacles that may impact project delivery.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among project teams to drive success and achieve project objectives.
Skills, Education and Experience required
Proven experience in project management within the architectural and structural metalwork industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong technical knowledge of architectural and structural metalwork processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of construction management principles, and industry standards and regulations.
Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
