An ideal opportunity for a specialist orthodontist or experienced Dentist with Special Interest in Orthodontics looking to earn well and improve their work/life balance by working at a high quality fully private practice a walking distance from the beach.

We are a modern, supportive, fully private, non-corporate practice in the beautiful coastal Cornish town of Falmouth. In 2023 we were awarded highly commended at the Private Dentistry Awards.

Alongside being a general practice, we already receive referrals for implants and endodontics. We are currently encountering a huge demand for both fixed and aligner private orthodontic treatment. There is also a lack of practices locally to refer to.

You will be working in a brand new, state of the art, highly equipped surgery with an iTero 5D scanner, Aquacut, speed increasing handpieces, and digital phosphor plate radiographs. The practice has a clinician with a PGDip in Orthodontics who does not currently undertake orthodontic treatment but can manage emergencies and questions when you are away from the practice. We do however therefore have most of the equipment you are likely to require.

We will provide you with the opportunity, time, equipment, and materials to enhance your career and skills, while providing the best orthodontic treatment you can. We will also support you in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In return we need you work to support our reputation, treat our patients well, and maintain a very high standard of dental care.

Remuneration:

Will be competitive and depend on the materials you require, additional equipment, postgraduate qualifications, and experience.

Days/Hours:

We can be flexible but would anticipate starting with 2 days per month and building gradually towards a full-time role involving orthodontic therapists.
