Principal Electronic Engineer – Mixed Signal – Hampshire UK

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Advanced analogue-to-digital signal transformation: devise and implement innovative circuits to convert analogue signals into high-precision digital formats
  2. Optimize signal processing techniques for superior accuracy and reliability
  3. Cutting-edge Digital and Analogue Circuit Design: lead the development and refinement of state-of-the-art digital and analogue circuits for diverse applications
  4. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional local and international teams to integrate designs into the overall product architecture
  5. Strategic Product Lifecycle Management: take charge of the product lifecycle from conceptualization to production, ensuring adherence to project timelines and stringent quality standards
  6. Conduct thorough feasibility studies and risk assessments for pioneering designs
  7. Comprehensive Testing and Validation: Plan and execute sophisticated testing protocols to validate advanced digital and analogue designs
  8. Effectively troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during the testing phases
  9. Collaboration and Clear Communication: Forge strong collaborations with hardware and software teams to ensure the seamless integration of digital and analogue components
  10. Communicate design concepts, progress, and challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  11. Thorough documentation: generate comprehensive design documentation, encompassing schematics, PCB layouts, and component specifications
  12. Maintain meticulous records of design iterations and modifications
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Successful working track as a senior or principal electronic engineering level. Proven experience in digital and analogue circuit design and product development. High proficiency in using design tools such as Altium, C language, and others. Familiarity with industry protocols related to digital and analogue signal processing. Exceptional problem-solving skills, adept at working in a fast-paced, collaborative international environment. Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience in product lifecycle management and successful product launches. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the digital and analogue design field.
