The role of the Technical Training Technician – Fire Protection Products will involve:
* Training & Installation Technician position dealing with a high quality range of passive fire protection / fire resistant products
* Responsible for delivery installation training on-site and off-site
* Installing mock build-ups for product testing and also at exhibitions
* Surveying passive fire protection installations
* Offering sound technical advice to clients and installers
* Working closely with Technical, Sales and Marketing Teams to offer product support
* National travel and overnight stays will be required
The ideal applicant will be a Training & Installation Technician – Fire Protection Products with:
* Must have installation experience with passive fire protection and flexible fire wall systems
* Strong technical understanding of active and passive fire protection systems for example: drylining, boarding, cavity barriers, thermal protection, plasterboards, insulation, partition systems, panel wall systems, fire resistant panels, insulation, blockwork walls, durasteel and acoustics
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Confident individual comfortable with presenting to groups
* High levels of organisation and attention to detail
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Full UK driving license
