To develop robust, scalable software solutions across the whole stack supporting the Innovation Delivery team’s customers and to deal with DevOps tasks such as deployment and monitoring.

In the VisNet Modelling Team, we develop software products that enable our clients to break new ground in how they operate electricity networks. We help our clients to streamline how they plan and connect low carbon technology to their networks to enable them to supply their customers highest quality service possible.

Your aim will be to help them and us achieve our goals of lowering carbon emissions and moving towards a net zero carbon future.

- Delivering quality, scalable software including UIs at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Participate in the day-to-day Agile aspects of projects (stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Ensure all software meets our coding standards and participate in code reviews
- Full stack development or back end specialism (C#, .net, SQL, Postgres) with some experience of the rest of the stack would be a benefit (Javascript, Typescript, React)
- Great attention to detail and emphasis on producing quality user experiences
- Strong experience with data platforms, handling and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of security standards in data handling
- Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests
- Agile SCRUM experienced
- Azure experience preferential: continuous integration and improvement, Azure functions, pipelines, DevOps and testing
