Resilient, enthusiastic and dedicated Behaviour Mentor required to work alongside a school in Dorset.
The school has 2 sites. One based in Blandford Forum who caters for young people between KS3 and KS4 with SEMH. The second, is based on Poole and caters for young people between the ages of 7-16 who can not attend mainstream school due to medical needs or anxiety. They also cater for young people between the ages of 7-11 with SEMH. As a Behaviour Lead in this school, you will be:
Reacting to challenging situations within the school environment, de-escalating behaviours and using physical restraint where necessary (full training will be provided).
This is a permanent opportunity starting ASAP or in September 2024.
Strong behaviour management skills and experience working with young people who have similar needs
GCSE or equivalent in Maths, English and ICT.
