Job Description As a Claims Adjuster, you will be dedicated to reviewing client claims and dealing with any questions and queries that arise. The role will involve processing claims by researching the policy, documentation and coverage terms.
You will be highly organised and comfortable building relationships and working with all levels of the firm. This position requires a self-driven, high-energy, creative professional who’s passionate about disrupting an industry and wants to be rewarded for their performance and contributions.
Analyse insurance claims across the UK, Europe and International markets.
Maintains good relationships and communication with underwriters, brokers , experts and risk analysts
Resolve claims in a timely manner and ensuring a fair settlement and good customer service for the client
Determines covered insurance losses by studying provisions of a policy or certificate
Documents specific claims by completing and recording forms, reports, logs, and records
Ensures legal compliance by following company policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as state and federal insurance regulations
Maintains quality customer service by following customer services practices and responding to customer inquiries
Provides legal support by assembling documentation for settlement action
Protects operations by keeping claims information confidential
Stay up-to-date on local, state and federal law changes in the insurance field.
Answer any queries regarding customer policies in a compliant and timely manner
Ability to produce high quality documentation.
Proven attention to detail/extreme precision about the content of requirements of documents, weekly reports and status updates.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within a similar claims or insurance position
Background in Cargo and freight forwarder liability claims management.
Experience in handling claims in the UK, Europe and International market
Understanding of insurance claims negotiation and settlement techniques
Comfortable dealing with internal and external senior representatives
Background in Claims management or adjusting
Excellent knowledge of the latest insurance related policies
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Documents
