We are now hiring an Accounts Payable Team Leadto join us in our office based in Coalisland.

The Job:

Requesting POs and Delivery dockets and performing the 3-way match to supplier invoice.
Processing supplier invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded.
Ensuring daily bank payments are allocated to the appropriate invoices.
Performing weekly supplier account reviews and chase up outstanding invoices.
Requesting and reviewing monthly supplier account reconciliations and following up on any discrepancies.
Performing first draft of weekly supplier payment run for approval by the Company Accountant/Financial Controller.
Assisting other members of the finance department with administrative support where required.
Assisting other business functions with data retrieval as and where required.
Assisting the Company Accountant with all month-end and year-end processes, including the external audit.
Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and report required by Senior Management.
Providing support, advice and query resolution to colleagues and external stakeholders.

The Person:

Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or qualified Accounting Technician, or a Bookkeeper with at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable function reporting to a Company Accountant, Finance Manager or equivalent.
Previous working experience using an accounting system e.g. Sage 50.
Excellent administrative skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc;.
Ability to work without supervision.
Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management & customer service skills.
Experience in managing or supervising staff.
Ability to handle confidential information.
