Are you an HSE Manager looking for a new challenge in the food manufacturing industry? Our client, a leading food manufacturer based near Newry, Northern Ireland, is seeking a dynamic and proactive HSE Manager to join their team.

As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. You will also be tasked with conducting risk assessments, providing training to employees, and leading incident investigations to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record in HSE Supervision / Management within the food manufacturing industry. You should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.

 
Personal Specification

Experienced in Health and Safety management ideally gained in manufacturing environment

Practitioner member of IEMA or working towards Environmental qualification

Ideally educated to degree level or hold a relevant professional qualification in Health and Safety management

Demonstrable experience of continued technical development including current Health and Safety legislation

Additional knowledge of occupational health is desirable
