Step Teachersare seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' children's centre in the heart of Islington. The pre-school is looking fora Teaching Assistantwith a Level 3 TA/Early Years qualification but may consider someone unqualified with extensive experience working with 0-5 year' olds.

This is a permanent position. The pre-school is open all year round.Hours of work: 9-5pm or 9-6pm (discussed at interview)

Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and intellectual development through interactive play and learning experiences
  • Providing individualised attention and support to children with varying needs and abilities
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for children at all times
  • Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements
  • As a Teaching Assistant, you must foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experienceworkingwithin an Early Years Setting isessential
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A relevant qualification in childcare is desirable
