The Service Engineer is a customer facing role and requires excellent communication, technical ability as well as a sound understanding of customer care and the systems operated by the company to perform the role. The Service Engineer is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of work allocated to them and reporting back as directed by company procedures that work has been completed to the satisfaction of the customer.

Obtain tasks using PDA software as provided and trained to use
Carry out a visual risk assessment on each job as required
Delivery of excellent customer service at all times and discuss with customer on all recommendations onsite including service plans and upgrade options.
Carry out monthly stock takes on van stock or stock stored at lockups
Carry out on-the-job training as directed by your line manager and partake in personal training courses as required
Seek office involvement where additional unforeseen costs will require paid for
Ensure all company property and vehicles are maintained

1 year + electrical/ mechanical engineering experience or have proof of being electrical competent
~ A medical may be required
~ Hold a Clean Driving Licence and undertake a driving licence check
~ IT literate especially on MS products and preferably in use of a PDA reporting system or service-based reporting package
~ Experience working in Wastewater/Water Industry
30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime Monday – Friday time and a third applies to hours before 8am and after 5:30pm
~ Saturday (Optional Overtime ) x time and a half
~ Company van and tablet provided.
~£100 a month full attendance bonus
~ Up to additional £100 per month on additional sales leads bonus.
~Pension: 5%
