Highways Inspector Location - Windsor Salary - Up to £40,000 per annum plus additional benefits. My client is one of the organisations who operate some of the busiest roads within the UK, they are looking to expand their team after recent positive growth. As the Highways Inspector, you will be responsible to keep the Highway Network Safe. The role of Highway Inspector includes, but is not limited to

  • Supervising works undertaken on behalf of my client, either on day or night shift as required
  • Responsible for inspections taking place along the Highway
  • Identifying defects which could pose a risk to road users
  • Reviewing works programmes
  • Undertaking regular health and safety audits for internal and external workforce
  • Liasing and managing sub contractors on site What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience working as a Highways Inspector, ideally in London is desired
  • Strong mentality to learn and develop new skills to contribute to the team
  • Experience of using computers and Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience of using GIS software or asset management software would be desirable.
  • Fully clean driver's licence
  • NRSWA Supervisor or Highways Inspector qualifications would be preferable
