The role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will use your skills and experience to develop embedded software to produce new communication systems and will be joining a team of engineers working on new product developments in radio and control systems.

Your existing knowledge of embedded software development and electronics will help you to collaborate to complete programming of our complex products. You'll enjoy working with engineers from other disciplines including electronics and RF to develop systems, and you will receive support with getting involved in system design, software architecture, and coding whilst working on your own personal development.

More About You

To apply for this role, you will already have:

• Experience of coding in standard languages such as C/C++.

• Experience in software development for embedded platforms, bare-metal, RTOS or Embedded Linux.

• The ability to debug complex systems with software and hardware tools.

To strengthen your application, it would be beneficial if you also have:

• Knowledge of how to develop robust systems.

• Experience in software defined radio or digital signal processing.

• An understanding of the security aspects of software development.

• A degree in software or electronic engineering or relevant experience.

• Enjoys coming up with creative solutions.

• Enjoys solving technical problems.

• Enjoys working with other capable engineers, combining your collective knowledge to produce better results.

• Work on the end-to-end development of new products.

• Be involved in proving designs by implementing tests and performing code reviews.

• Support products and investigate reported defects.

• Contribute to project planning and meetings.
