BAMROC uses state-of-the-art AI algorithms to automatically resolve MEP clashes in BIM (Building Information Modeling) models, significantly reducing project timelines and costs. Currently in its beta testing phase, BAMROC is poised to revolutionize the way AEC professionals approach MEP coordination, offering unprecedented accuracy and efficiency.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team, working closely with our product and software development teams to ensure that our AI-powered solutions meet industry standards for building SaaS products. This role is ideal for a civil engineer with a strong understanding of construction processes and a passion for technology, who can bridge the gap between traditional engineering principles and modern software development practices. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure that our solutions adhere to industry standards, meet user needs, and are optimized for efficiency and safety.

Note: This is a fully remote role, and we are open to applications from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product managers and software engineers to ensure that our SaaS solutions meet industry standards for construction technology.
  • Provide technical expertise on civil engineering principles to guide the development of AI-driven tools and ensure they address real-world challenges in the construction industry.
  • Review software design and architecture to ensure compliance with construction industry regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, ensuring alignment with the needs of end-users, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and trends in civil engineering and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the product team in translating engineering requirements into functional software features that enhance project management, MEP coordination, and BIM integration.
  • Assist in testing and validating new software features to ensure they align with industry standards and deliver real value to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a strong interest in technology and SaaS product development.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong understanding of construction workflows, materials, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools and MEP coordination is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about how software can address industry challenges.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in both engineering and software development.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • The opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing company at the forefront of AI in the AEC industry.
  • Professional development opportunities to grow within the role and the organization.
  • A chance to be part of a company transforming the way AEC professionals work through innovative AI technology.
  • A diverse and inclusive work environment that values creativity and collaboration.

What We Offer:

- Hands-on experience in a fast-growing tech company.

- Competitive salary and benefits package.

- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
