We are currently recruiting for a HSQE advisor looking to fast track their career within a dynamic Tier 2 Contractor. With a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established health & safety team to work on a wide range of schemes including infrastructure & heavy civil engineering projects up to £400 Million. Utilising your previous experience within the construction industry alongside your NEBOSH certificate, you will be the number 1 H&S Advisor across the group, reporting directly into the H&S Manager. Key Accountabilitiy's: Keep up to date with the latest HSQE requirements including legislation best practice. Provide support to management teams in all aspects of HSQE setting the highest standards by personal example. Ensure Site Management is aware of and provided with up-to-date HSQE documentation. Contribute alongside the pre-con and bid team with HSQE requirements at pre-qualification and bid stages. Assist with the preparation of risk assessments and method statements where appropriate for the project teams. Conduct HSQE Audits and Inspections on sites and for premises. Assist with the preparation of various HSQE Awareness briefings, toolbox talks, alerts etc. in line with operational requirements. Attend meetings both internal and external to represent the HSQE team as appropriate. Individual Accountability's: Be clear on your responsibilities and strive to achieve constant improvement. Actively contribute to improving the business and the way they do things. Pro-actively exploit opportunities to learn and develop your career.
