Our client is a rapidly growing business committed to producing high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant management, particularly within the FMCG sector, and possess a strong track record in managing large-scale projects.
This role will oversee the expansion of the plant, ensuring projects are completed on time, safely, and in full compliance with all regulations. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is flexible, hands-on, and capable of driving change.
Six Figure * Competitive Salary plus package
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of a manufacturing plant's operations.
- Ensure that the facility runs efficiently, safely, and meets production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all phases are completed within deadlines.
- Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring the plant operates smoothly and meets all performance specifications.
- Manage a growing team of 175 employees, with plans to add 40 new positions across all departments. This growth will support the organisation’s expansion and enable senior management to take a more strategic role.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, FMCG, Chemical, Process Engineering, or a related field. A preference for candidates with strong educational backgrounds.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant management.
- Must have international experience, either through prior roles or working with multinational operations, including experience in Europe.
- Strong familiarity with Food/FMCG industries is essential.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience managing large, diverse teams. Ability to work hands-on and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong understanding of CAPEX management and budgeting.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the chemical industry.
- Exceptional organisational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates with experience in international and industry-specific roles in FMCG, Chemical and Processing sectors, are highly desirable.
